East entrance road closure

YNP Road Conditions recorded message states that the road is closed from one half mile east of the East Entrance to the Pelican Barricade near Fishing Bridge due to a mud and rock slide

Thanks for the information. We won't bother trying to go up there early tomorrow morning on our way to the Tetons. We weren't having any luck with wildlife in the area anyway. But still, it's a whole lot better than being at work!

Not sure exactly when they got it cleared but the road is open today.
