Grand Prismatic Overlook Trail opens in Midway Geyser Basin.

We hiked the trail just after it opened. Kind of hot without much shade during the midday, but other than that it has a great view of Grand Prismatic, well worth the hike. It is just under a mile, nice and wide, with a gradual climb.

Just checked out the Park pix of the new Grand Prismatic trail and overlook. What a huge improvement! Can't wait to see it next year. Many thanks to everyone who worked on the project....you did good!
