Nice picture Rick.... I was in GTNP and YNP the 2nd week of October. I managed to find two different Great Gray Owls , sadly it was very early in the AM and the light wasn't the best. Shot some video of the first one around 7:00 AM and the 2nd owl around 11:30 was about 80 yards away and it was dark...

Grizzlies suspected of killing guide are dead. Sad couple of days, but when you enter Grizzly country you always need to be prepared and more so when you kill an elk and find it almost a day later.... You have to think maybe a bear is close and maybe wants to eat it too.... Is your life worth an elk...
